Maybea general modern Ubisoft game problem with many of their engines. It's a very CPU intensive game, and some are hit harder than others. More cores/threads helps a lot, and in my experience 4core CPUs have a bad time. TBH 100% isn't too much stress as long as you have temperatures under control.

SoI just did an upgrade to my rig and reinstalled the system. Redownloaded the game in steam, installed uplay. The game activated in uplay fine, but when I try to play it, it won't launch either from steam or uplay. Repliedon November 19, 2020. Since build 20257, the Assassin's Creed Origins, Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Assassin's Creed Valhalla games are no longer launched. I was hoping that build 20262 would fix the problem, but it doesn't. So I have to go back to build 20251 for these games to work.
